The classic exlibris

The logo for Werner Müel is not so much a logo as it is a good old-fashioned exlibris.
The wish from Werner Müel was therefore that the logo was designed with respect for how the exlibris of earlier times was designed.

I therefore chose to use a classic Gothic font to compose a unique expression.
With a little adjustment of the two characters, I got them connected in a beautiful and harmonious figure that could elegantly serve as an exlibris for Werner Müel.

Since the logo was to be used on a wealth of classic media, it was important that it appeared well in one color.
Therefore, a color scheme was not defined. Thus Werner Müel had the opportunity to work with the logo in the colors that were possible or appropriate in a given situation.

The conceptually strong brand

The logo forms the basis of the visual identity, which, along with colors and graphic elements, is applied to all media for print and web, to create a conceptual expression.

The use of logo, colors and graphic elements are weighed closely with each media, to create an appropriate visual relation.

The layout of the different media primarily takes into account the nature and function of the media, so that it can perform its task without drowning in a graphical abundance.

A media must be able to stand alone and clearly and unequivocally show who the sender is, so that each media is a strengthening of the overall concept, and contributes to the value of a recognizable visual identity and a strong brand.
